Short answers to the questions we hear most often. Can't find what you need? Email hello@kept.build.
001 — What is Kept?
002 — How does pricing work?
There are two ways to start your Kept Record:
If you're building or renovating — a one-off Kept Record includes 12 months of full access and up to 10 GB kept for life. It's the complete capture toolkit: upload your floor plan, invite your builder and trades, and document everything as it's built. After the first 12 months, an optional membership keeps your record living.
If you're already in your home — start your Kept Record as a low-cost monthly or annual membership. Build up your home's record over time: appliances, finishes, warranties, certificates, documents and photos, all in one searchable place, kept with the property for life.
See current pricing in your local currency on the pricing page. All prices include applicable taxes. You can upgrade an existing-home record to a full build record any time you start a renovation.
003 — What happens if my membership lapses?
Nothing is ever deleted if your membership lapses. Your Kept Record stays safe and is kept with the property.
Reactivate any time and pick up where you left off — nothing is lost in between.
004 — Is my data safe and backed up?
005 — Can I get a refund?
006 — How do I add things to my record?
You can add to your Kept Record any time: upload photos, videos and documents, record your appliances, finishes, warranties and certificates, and drop pins on your floor plan to mark where things are. You can also generate a QR code for your property so a tradesperson can scan it on site and upload straight to your record — no account needed.
If you're building or renovating, a build Kept Record adds the full on-site capture toolkit: upload your own floor plan and invite your builder and trades by email to document the work as it's built, before it's covered over.
007 — Can I export my record?
